Need you help... What do sugest

For the Attention of: Ms Teresa Marsh - Customer Support Adviser

This request is made without prejudice.

1. Who is your customer?

2. Who do you represent?

3. What is my recourse when I'm not happy with your ability to act as both a Broker and customer assistant?

4. Who is senior enough within your organisation to take my concerns and considerations seriously, and in a customer pro way.

For your information I have responded to your latest correspondence below. I am not happy that you are dealing with this matter for me, the customer, in a satisfactory manner.

You will recall in previous and numerous conversations that I chose the AA Insurance Co to represent mine and my families car insurance needs. My decision was not made on price but on image and reputation. I do not believe as an organisation you believe this is the way you conduct your business.

For the benefits of you again and all the cc'd addressees I will once again provide with a prcis of my grievances.

We (Mandy Owen and Paul Owen) purchased insurance sometime ago for various vehicles and have been continuing to do so. Your systems should be able to provide you with the correct dates and cars. We were always impressed with the service provided. Indeed, when we insured the Renault in question your adviser could not of done more, in our opinion to help.

Unfortunately I believed your adverts. I expected that you would represent me and my family should a claim or difficulty arise.

Never once, unlike an Insurance Broker regulated by the Financial Services Authority, have you ever informed me of your commissions and fees. I think your caveat, we Act for various insurance companies, is indeed accurate and at the same time misleading.

Statement of facts:-

June 2005: Informed you that Renault X478VBW Insured with yourselves was involved in an accident. At no time was either Paul or Mandy Owen driving this vehicle.

August 2005: Requested what the outcome in this claim was. Was informed, firstly the AA could not help it was with the insurers.

August 2005: After pressure by us the AA found out that the claim had been settled against us with no recourse. Never received any written corresponce on this matter.

September 2005: Renewal of insurance with yourselves. Policy states June 2005 Renault X478VBW Insured with yourselves involved in an accident. Your description on insurance renewal is as follows:

Policy No 9852721G/01

Notes: Tp Allege Insd Veh Rolled Into Tp Parked Vh

We subsequently get a renewal notice for our BMW P908PVT. We dully agreed, wrongly assuming that you were aware of the above.

We then receive a letter stating we were in fact in breach of your insurers terms of business because we didn't declare the above information, the information we had to fight on your behalf to obtain.

Your Data Protection Act Statement states that you pass on this information. Therefore why was this information not passed on to our new insurers.

5. Why is it our fault when you act and take a fee as our broker?

6. Do we have any recourse when you dont do what you say?

With regards to an increased premium due to this accident with have never been in dispute.

7. Why do your insurers now insist on a copy on Mandy Owen's driving license via facsimile (provided 3rd March 2006 by ourselves) when she has not been involved in the aforementioned accident?

I believe a simple resolution to this matter would be that you agree that the AA have misrespresnted us in this matter.

NEVER EVER HAVE INSURANCE FROM THESE     Post a reply to this message

I had full accidental building and contents insurance with the AA and had all the speil about how they would look after you in the event of a claim blah blah blah........ Then my dishwasher leaked and wrecked all the bottom units in my kitchen. I phoned the AA to tell them and they said I would have to find somebody to fix them.... I asked them if they had an approved list of contractos and they just said that they were the broker not the insurance company. I then found out that the top units in my kitchen were not covered (ALL INSURANCE COMPANIES HAVE THIS SCAM BY WHERE MATCHING UNTIS SUCH AS 3 PIECE SUITES ARE NOT COVERED - ONLY THE DAMAGED ITEM) even though i had asked the sales person if all items were covered. I even phoned them during my claim and asked if bottom kitchen units were damaged would all units top and bottom be replaced to which they replied YES!!!!!! They left me with a bill for 3800 to cover the other units. I had to go to the chairman of AA to get them to do a full payout. I ended up on anti depressants...........................
They love you if you dont make a claim but when you need them they back off claiming only to be brokers and leave you with all the hassle and phone calls.

I BEG YOU DO NOT TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGE POLE!!!!!!
