No Phones To Be Won Here!

I have just deleted a lot of posts here as people are posting "entries" here in the hope of winning a handset.Please note that this site is not associated in any way with the Fanta "competition". Mention is only made of it here as a result of consumer complaints about the running of this promotion.

| Hey, i got a message from fanta at 7 o'clock and i gave my name and address and everything went smoothly. they texted back asking will i be in my house at 9-5pm mon-fri and said then that it will be delivered in 28 days! wots the phone like?

- Thank You Grumbletext - i would like to thank those hard working people at grumbletext for information they gave me yesterday. I told fanta that i reported them to trading standards and watchdog, and they phoned me an hour later, and told me we've got your address, and you will have the phone you won within 7 days! Thanks Grumbletext.

| Msg From Grumbletext: well done, we reckon reporting them to watchdog is a good move - we also contacted the Office of Fair Trading for advice, and they suggested that you contact your local Trading Standards Authority - to find out your local office, pls call 08708729000 - good luck - big brands like Fanta REALLY don't like getting reported to the TSA, so hopefully you'll get a result

another call to the fanta mobiel helpline, and i was told again “ we don't have your address on file or mobile number on file”. Followed by “we're call you back later once we've looked into it” How can they look into it if they say they dont have my details! Well i waited and waited, oh and waited, and still waiting for them to call? I think they must put the phone down and ignore the matter of why i phoned them! I am getting so annoyed with it now, and have come to a conclusion that the promtion is a joke, and the phone i have won will never arrive. I am thinking of letting watchdog on the TV know aout this? Has anyone else won a prize from fanta? They claim that the promtion is all automatic, according to emails they send me back. Ive complained my email around 6 times and they have just sent me the phone number back when i asked for the postal address?? I will not be buyin anymore fanta, or cocalcola branded drinks until i get my prize phone.

I RECEIVED A TEXT MESSAGE FORM FANTA 2 WEEKS AGO TELLING ME THAT I HAD WON A MOBILE PHONE. THEY ASKED ME TO TEXT THEM MY ADDRESS, BUT I HAVE DONE THAT OVER 6 TIMES NOW, AND ENTERED IT ONCE ON THERE WEBSITE. AFTER 2 CALLS TO THE HELPLINE, THEY STILL DONT HAVE MY ADDRESS? IT'S FUNNY THAT THEY ARE NOT RECEVING MY ADDRESS, IT MUST BE AS I HAVE WON A PHONE! WHA I WANT TO KNOW IS, ARE FANTA ACTUALLY GIVING 30 MOBILES AWAY EACH DAY FOR 3 MONTHS? WELL I HAVE COME TO A CONCLUSION THAT I WIL NOT RECEIVE THE MOBILE THAT I HAVE WON? PLUS I CANT FIND AN EMAIL ADDRESS OR POSTAL ADDRESS TO COMPLAIN TO THEM? WELL I THINK I'LL START BUYING OTHER BRANDS OF DRINK NOW!
