Specsavers cocked up direct debit

Specsavers cocked up my wifes direct debit for contact lenses, the did not inform her when they were taking the first payment, then our bank charged us �39 she didn't even recieve the first lot she was supposed to be paying for, her voucher covered the others
cheers specsavers !
demand the dates they are going to be taking money FROM YOU !
or you will be paying 4-5 times as much

With competition from onlline opticians these are under pressure. I had my eyes etsted but the were very difficult abotu just giving me my prescription (I said i was on a meter and had no time to pick any frames)
I ordered online from Spexmanaic http://www.specmaniac.co.uk there are plenty of other online suppliers you can choose from.
My glasses were 25 quid and arrived within 14 days - no complaints

| i would only use specsavers if i couldnt afford a dearer optician. the glasses are just of the shelf its only luck if they fit. they dont measure you at all. i am not even convinced that the eye test was much good. unless my eyes had changed a year later!
