En Fused

I phoned En Fused today regarding an outstanding holiday I had been offered. The call was answered and I was told that although En Fused were not still operating, my holiday had been forwarded to Whoopydoo to organise. I was suprised to get a reply to my call as an internet search indicated that En Fused had been placed into receivership. I would add that I have already enjoyed an all-inclusive weeks holiday in Tunisia through En Fused and also Whoopydoo, so I'm hopeful that the offer will be fullfilled in due course. There were no supplements to pay as I opted to travel alone in both cases thanks to my understanding Wife !!

Hi any more up to date information on En-Fused I just had a cheque returned saying over subscribed yet when I checked with the carrier there was plenty of availibility on the flight and had not heard of En-Fused. I also spoke to trading standards who told me they they had spoke to several people who had been on a free en-fused holiday but did not tell me if the supplements out weighed booking a regular holiday nor could they tell me if any one who won a free holiday for one got it.

En- Fused Dynamic Marketing - Lucky Escape

To anyone who has won a cruise by scatching a scatch card! - BEWARE.
My friend thought she'd won a mediterranean cruise when she recievd a letter from En-Fused Dynamic Marketing. She was so excited! Luckily she told me about this and showed me the coreespondence which immediately set alarm bells ringing.
How can you have won a holiday if:-
a) you are not guareenteed a place
b) if you have to pay money up front
c) they cannot tell you who you are flying with or what cruise liner you will be sailing on unless you have paid the money!
I then checked out this sight an saw other complaints which confirmed all my fears, so thank you to all those who have posted notes reagding these con artists!!
It makes me so angry that these people can con innocent people out of hard earned money, so if you are in the same postion and think you won a holiday from this company. Do not send them any money, because you'll never see it again!
A friend.

In case anyone thinks it's not worth the fight, I would like to confirm that I got a cheque for 78 from En-fused, which is a refund of my initial downpayment (they've had it since 2004!) It has now cleared; and Mr Chalk of Wiltshire Trading Standards has confirmed that they will be closely monitoring the company and will be raising any complaints they receive in association with them.
It is worth complaining and if you have been swindled out of your hard-earned cash, it's not too late to try and get it back.

Re "Re: En-fused dynamic marketing solutions" posted by rkget at 12:05 06/03/06 ...
There are many different versions of these types of vouchers offering free or very cheap holidays. however, to take them up you need to be very flexible to be able to go from the airport offered and at the time offered. Not everyone can do this and so the actual number of people who successfully 'jump through the hoops' is much smaller tha those who pay the money. If you read the voucher carefully you will be able to pick this up. If you can't be flexible then you shouldn't bother paying any money as you are going to get offered a holiday when they are cheapest, not the school holidays or other peak times. If you can't take it up you will loose your money.
If you get asked to pay extra money it is usually because of taxes and transfers, if not included, or fuel surcharges that are now common place in the holiday market. It's best to read the voucher properly at the outset.
The OFT, DTI and Trading Standards have all looked at these vouchers but have concluded that they don't break any of the rules. Most people just don't read them properly.
So the moral of this piece is that nothing is ever free and any offer contains T&Cs to reduce take up to periods when the third parties want the booking to occur. Just think about it and use your common sense.

I have just remembered my En-fused letter telling me that I would be contacted with details of my holiday within 18 months.. Well.. they still have about six months to go.. Their letter is dated 22nd November 2004...
I could really do with a holiday now having suffered 18 months of hell, losing my job, which in this social and economic climate has not been difficult, but impossible, at my age. So I may, when the weather is finer, make my way to the phone box ( disconnecting my phone was a must) to call them to confirm that I would appreciate my holiday before the end of the 18 months..June - July 2006 will be fine.. I could arrange to hook up with relatives who live not too far from the Bahamas.. that is where my letter states I will be going..note that I still maintain my optimism... despite the other letters on this page .....Its all I have left....requesting a refund for me would entail asking for interest on my deposit...I'd be duty bound to do so.. and I really don't have the time.....Trading Standards are usually fully booked.
Pray for me please.

We paid a deposit on a "complementary" week for 5 people. Now they i.e. En-Fusion Dynamic Marketing Solutions have offered us a week for 4 at a destination not listed and guess what they want another 511.00. Some FREE holiday. The Daily Mail should vet the people who offer these holidays more thoroughly!!!

EBAY HOLIDAY VOUCHER SCAM - En-fused Ltd

Thanks to this site, I have not been tricked into buying a holiday voucher on EBAY. Someone at the address of is auctioning many vouchers entitling the person to a free 7 day skiing holiday/cruise/mediterranean holidays. As the seller's feedback comments were poor, I enquired on how he/she came about the voucher and typed En-fused Ltd into google. Thanks for the advice on this page. I would like to warn others against bidding on Ebay for unclaimed "free holiday vouchers".

Hi, I received a letter the day after my wife died in September 2005 saying that I'd ironically won a cruise for one to the Bahamas. I sent the form back in December 2005 by special delivery but having just checked the Royal Mail tracking service, my letter was re-directed. I think this whole "prize ticket" thing is a load of crap. Mine originally came from a "Golden Ticket" that was inside the News of The World. I can't believe that they are aloud to get away with it......

In November 2004 just getting over my first cancer l decided to take up the offer of the above, not for their carribean cruise, but a cheaper holiday for 2 to Teneriffe.
I paid the booking fee of 78 for 2 tickets and waited..waited..waited,nothing.. l rang them in October 2005, having just got over a 2nd cancer and was told the offer was open till April 2006 and l was still on the waiting list.
Having read comments from this site can anyone give me an e-mail address to hunt out this company and any suggestions on how to deal with them?
They are definitely dynamic!!! at getting other peoples money under false pretences, isnt there a law against this?
Please can anyone help.Thanks

I may have managed to get a refund!
|
|
|
Well here is a list of my dealings with Worldwide Vacations / Lets Go Bath / Promo World Travel:
In January 2004 I paid 69 for a weekend break in Paris. This money was paid to Worldwide Vacations, however the acknowledgement came from Lets Go Bath - so thankfully I have escaped the curse of WWV going into liquidation and having no chance of getting a refund as some people have been very unfortunate to suffer.
By March this year I hadn't heard anything from them. All but one of my chosen dates had passed, and the final date was approaching rapidly. So I emailed Paul Shipway who responded and passed my email onto Gina Hales. She also responded saying that my booking was now under Promo World Travel and they would be issuing me with the holiday and they had until 14th July 2005 to do so.
14th July came and went so I emailed Gina Hales again to ask for a refund as I had not been offered the holiday. This was when she started to get rude and agressive. She wrote a letter to me stating that I had been offered a holiday to depart in early June. I however, had been keeping our email correspondence and had an email from her dated towards the end of June which acknowledged that I had not so far been offered a holiday. I therefore forwarded this email to her. In response she didn't comment on my proof that they could not have offered me the holiday she was insisting they had, and then said they in fact had until the end of July 2005 in order to offer me a holiday (which left them approximately 5 days) and that she had never stated that they had to offer a holiday by 14th July. So I forwarded the email in which she stated 14th July. The response to this was: "yes, and you were offered a holiday, so you are not due a refund".
So I perservered with my proof of them not having offered me a holiday on the date they were insisting, Gina Hales then changed her mind about when a holiday had been offered and said one had been offered in July of this year. I emailed her to say I simply didn't believe her, I hadn't receive a holiday offer and she changed her story whenever I proved her wrong. She refused to answer this in email and so I therefore wrote a letter detailing all the above to Paul Shipway, saying that I would take them to court if they did not refund my money and report them to the Office of Fair Trading. I also enclosed copies of all emails exchanged and the letter I had received.
I sent this by recorded delivery and within two days I received a letter from Promo World Travel saying they enclosed a cheque for the 69 and they apologised for the delay in refunding me. However, what a surprise, no cheque was included.
I therefore contacted their office by telephone to tell them they had not enclosed a cheque. During the first telephone call I was simply told that the Accounts department were closed and that they would chase it up for me the next day. I then rang the next day to see what had been done and I spoke to a very rude man who insisted I had already been told what was happening, that I had to wait a further week for them to issue a new cheque so that they were sure I wasn't lying! I told him I wasn't satisfied with this, that they should block the cheque they were saying had been sent and issue a new one in order to avoid court action. He refused to do this. When I asked to speak to his manager he said "we don't work like that". When I said there must be someone else I could speak to as I wasn't satisfied with his service, he replied that he wasn't satisfied with me either and then he hung up! I rang straight back, had an almost identical conversation with another member of staff, who then also hung up on me.
So I wrote another letter to Paul Shipway, and low and behold! Today, two days after he received my second letter I have received a cheque for a full refund. Suspiciously the cheque is dated 31st August (the date of their original letter saying a refund was included) and is therefore I suspect the original cheque they insisted I was lying about having not received. Interestingly the cheque is not from Promo World Travel (although the letter is), but is from En-fused Ltd. Anyway, I will go and pay it in today and pray that it doesn't bounce!
So it seems the answer may be perserverance. Keep records of all correspondence. Contact them by email rather than phone so that you have a paper trail. And finally threaten them with taking it to the small claims court and give them a deadline to repsond (I gave them 2 weeks) before automatically taking court action.
I know mine was only a small amount of money compared to the sums others have paid out but hopefully the above will be useful to anyone else owed money by this company.

As you may know, WWV have gone into liquidation. Any evidence you have that may help to stop these company directors from carrying on ripping people off under a different company name or even to prosecute them for fraud should be sent to THE OFFICIAL RECEIVERS in London. (Address and contact details you can find on the web) I too am trying to reclaim 600. I may even try taking the directors of Promo World Travel to court as they confirmed my holiday as paid and booked. So why cant I have it?
This is going to be a long and unpleasant journey

Hi Amanda
Thank you for your information. I am sending my details as posted on grumbletext today. I believe the directors should not be allowed to continue in the same business or should be liable to repay people their money from the other companies they oversee. No doubt they all have very nice homes etc. Sequestration seems a good option to me!
Best wishes

I also purchased the so-called Luxury Holiday paying the initial 198 but subsequently asked to pay for airport taxes then told I cannot fly from local airport unless I pay 35 extra pr person. I was always threatened that if I am unable to go on the designated holiday it would cost me an additional 249 each person. Also threatened that posting of letters was no proof of receipt so i recorded delivery every letter which cost additional money. Each holiday i was offered was cancelled resulkting in finally the Company going into liquidation. I have had no refund.
More interestingly, which the Daily Mirror may want to pursue one of the Directors (Mr Hart) continues as a director of another holiday company called Prime World Travel at the same telephone contact number and presumably the same address. I actually have headed letter paper from them confirming my hoilday with W W V.
It seems a very poor state of affairs that a director of one company can continue to run a linked or associate company in the same business and yet many people have lost their money. What is going on? Surely the Deptment of Trade and Industry should regulate such behaviour?

Hi
I have been trying to get 406 from this company for months. Today I had a letter from Philip Roberts from the Insolvency Service stating that the company had gone into liquidation. It states that there are no funds left to refund people. It also states that they are trying to build a case against the company for criminal or civil conduct and are looking for evidence. His email address is . Doesn't look like we will be getting any money back but maybe we can all help stop this guy doing it again.

I would like to let you know that we too have been conned but only the cost of a premium rate call. But thanks to your site and the comments posted we have been spaired the extra cost of paying out monies for a "free holiday". So for that I thank you all . For anyone else who is checking the internet as I was for some proof of this being a genuine holiday offer, the company I was contacted by is EN-FUSED LIMITED, which I believe is run and operated by the same people.

TRAVEL FUNDS BLOW
BAD news for the hundreds of you owed money by "prize" holiday vouchers firm Worldwide Vacation (UK) Ltd.
We've got refunds totalling 10,000 for some readers but boss Paul Shipway says Barclays has frozen the bank account.
Meanwhile, the Inland Revenue claims Bath-based Worldwide - now renamed WWV.Com Ltd - owes 130,000. A High Court hearing is set for next month and Shipway expects WWV to be liquidated, leaving nothing for customers.
He and co-director Nevil Hart, 46, have been trying to pay people back with money earned by their other companies.
But Shipway, 36, says he is facing bankruptcy. "If I was owed money like our customers, I'd be furious, too. I'm sorry but we've nothing left to give."
We'll keep you posted on developments... |

Hi everyone
As you can see from my messages i have also had trouble from getting my money back, after a lot of moaning and sending emails everyday to the lovely (there is sarcasim there) Gina hales and Mr Shipway on Thursday i received a cheque under a cover letter from Promoworlds for 207 (half of the money owed to me). And i can announce it has cleared in my bank today. Although the strange thing was the cheque was written out by a company called En-Trust Limited so im wondering whether the lovely Mr Shipway and Mr Hart have decided to open another company and do the same. I would be grateful if the mirror could investigate this because obviously they still owe me another 207.00 which would come in very handy about now.
I hope we track these people down and get everything that is owed to us.
Kind regards.

From The Daily Mirror 28th April 2005
By Andrew Penman and Michael Greenwood page 29
Penman & Greenwood Investigate -
TRAVEL FUNDS BLOW

I have also just been told that I will not receive the refund I was told I would and that the company is 'winding up'. I've just spoken the ABTA and neither Promo World Travel or Worldwide Vacations are members of their association so we have to contact trading standings. I also think we should all go to Watchdog.
If you have paid on your credit cards you may be able to claim it back. Also if you were given travel dates and you took out insurance they may be able to help.

I have also just received a letter from WWV stating that refunds will no longer be issued as the company has gone into receivership and that claims must be made win writing to the Official Receiver.
I have been looking at other sites regarding this company and the "Crimeshare" has messages posted from people as recently as 2nd April this year who have received refunds. I have followed their advice and emailed Paul Shipway directly and The Mirror to see if there is anyway of chasing up the money that I am owed.
However, in case this does not work I would be really grateful to receive details about how to make a county court claim against the company.
Please email me with details:

Hi, I've just come off the phone with Gina Hales. Apparently there will be no holidays or cheques issued as the company WWV is in the hands of the receivers. She is sending me a letter with the receivers details so we can make a claim through them.
I recommend you call Gina and get her to do the same for you. It's a start if nothing else.
Also, Gina denies that Paul Shipway is a Manager or employee of Promo World Travel (previously Letsgo) but was the MD of WWV.
Many voices are louder than one; is a class action necessary to make things happen in our favour? Best of luck to all those affected by WWV.

Hi, I have been in contact by email with Mr Shipway. He's been giving me stories about him going to be bankrupt after the high court stuff. I have been demanding my money back for a few weeks. If there is a court hearing, I will be most interested to attend. Contact trading standards and your local C.A.B. for advice as to what to do. Also, you can contact the Daily Mirror, give your details. Email to:
Let me know how you get on. I need to take further action too. I've 600 at stake!
Kind regards
Darren

so im gonna take this as far as i can now, how can companies get away with ripping people out of their money, im not out of pocket by 400 because these low life criminals took our money, Mr Shipway and his rubbish about sleeping at night is rubbish, i bet he has a lovely house to go home to at night may be a nice bmw and lets not forget his lovely rolex as well !!!!!!!!!!

I have also been stung by these people. I couldn't go on the holiday because my son was due to have an operation, so these guys told me in August 2004 that if I got them a doctors note (which I did at the extra cost 10) I would receive a full refund of my deposit. After waiting for a couple of weeks I phoned them to say I hadn't received my refund and was given some rubbish about the accounts dept. knowing and should have sent out a cheque. The 'tracking down of the cheque' took them another two weeks after which I called back only to be told that the company was closing down and that I would have to wait for my refund (50% in 6 months and 50% 6 months later), this money would come from sales generated from leasing their database. Staff were extremely rude.
Guess what - six months down the line and no money Have been in touch with trading standards who tell me that the company is still running at their address in Gloucester under WWV.com Ltd but the phone is off, was advised to write them a letter and send it recorded delivery.
However after reading your account it seems that in the end the only way to get your money is to take them to court. Could you please provide me with the necessary steps I need to take.
Thank you

Between June 2003 and December 2003 , we sent cash for two holidays to this company. Over the time known as WWV/ Lets Go/ PromoWorld. We have never received a holiday. After requesting our money back, we have heard today that the company is going into receivership. What else can we do? Can anyone help us get our money back?
